The Elastic data model is the most fundamental concept of an inriver installation. An Elastic data model is an organization of data into Entities and links between them. We distinguish between model and data, where the model is the way of structuring data, and the data is the actual content.
Technically, an Elastic data model is a database representation of a set of predefined building blocks. All communication with the database is done through the inriver server, which secures the model's integrity and data. The server supports various APIs by which you can provide the end-user with a customized enrichment experience based on the data model.
You can maintain the data model using the Model menu inside the Control Center.
The flexibility of the Elastic data model makes it easy to organize your data and customize your enrichment process, which in turn gives your end users an efficient user experience.
We provide a flexible modeling framework, making it possible to create an individual model that supports specific solutions without unnecessary overhead.
