This month we have news of a new API to access digital shelf analytics (DSA) data from Evaluate, enhancements to our workflows functionality, and some performance-enhancing measures for Print 2.0. We also have an update on the rapid adoption of Expression Engine!
Evaluate data now available via API
Transforming digital shelf data into decisions became easier at the end of January with the launch of a new inriver API. You can now seamlessly connect the DSA data generated by Evaluate, with your third-party systems. You can share information on pricing compliance and what products are out-of-stock per channel directly with your ERP, CRM and BI tools. This eliminates the need to manually export data to spreadsheets for further processing, improving efficiency and enabling more dynamic, data-driven decisions across your business.

Workflow enhancements simplify the complex
Managing complex PIM workflows got a little easier and smarter when we added a new automation trigger to workflows at the start of the year. Sometimes, you want your team to get an assignment when the images, accessories, or other related items to a product are updated in the PIM. That’s the time to use the “Linked Entity Updated” trigger. It allows you to assign work to your team when there is a change to anything that is linked to a specific product, not just the product itself.
With this new trigger, you’ll be able to increase efficiency and productivity in your PIM workflows and reduce errors in your product information by keeping all of your teams informed when relevant changes are made to data across your PIM.

Upgrading visibility in Expression Engine
We continue to be delighted and gratified by the pace at which you, our customers, have been taking advantage of Expression Engine since it launched at the end of November. You have already created over four and a half million expressions!
This month, we’ve added a display that gives you real-time visibility of progress for all "Apply Expressions" jobs for quicker decision-making.
Enhancing flexibility and control with Print
Print 2.0 now includes two new Force Reload features to address integration issues when data isn’t loading as expected. These options enable you to trigger a refresh of data for both Print and the Print Organizer functionality, ensuring faster troubleshooting.
Other updates to Print this month have improved performance, including faster completion times for nighttime batch processing and ensuring data integrity when exporting. You can also confidently manage selectable sections, as changes are now consistently reflected in publication lists.
That’s it for this month’s summary. If you’d like to know more about the details behind these enhancements, you can read our technical release notes at any time.
