NOTE: This page will be updated with some more information and videos
A big theme in this update is performance. This is noticeable when it comes to "Long running jobs" that allows different exports that you do in the Web Portal to run in the background and thus prevent the web browser to come in an idle state. The work aeas have also been improved both on the back-end but also with pagination in the front-end. Besides that, a lot of performance related fixes has been made.
The largest functional change is around Contribute that is still in BETA but the intention is to have it fully released end of year. In this update we introduce a new Approval interface that allows you to get a better overview and also work with approval on an entity and field level, where different persons can approve different fields on an entity. These personal approvals and rejections are stored in the import history and can also be exported to Excel. This allows for better and more detailed tracking that in some cases are critical for legal purposes. There is also a new messaging function to communicate between approver and contributor.
Last we have cherry-picked some small improvements in Enrich to improve the user experience.
In the end of the release notes is a list of known non-critical issues in Contribute (BETA)
Now excel exports runs in the background to secure that that there is no time-out in the browser and that you can continue to work while waiting for the export. The file is no longer directly sent to the browser, you will have to click on Jobs and download it from there when it is ready. This applies to:
Now you can select whether you want to export the CVL keys, the value or both. Remember that you need the keys you want to import the data again to iPMC.
With version 220.127.116.11 of inRiver.Remoting there is a breaking change in one of the extension interfaces, ISyndicateExtension
The change has been made to enable Syndicate-extensions to give feedback to the system if the export was successful or not. In relation to syndications moving to long-running-job this also enables a better ui-experience for syndications.
