This is a really lovely post!

It's quite interesting to read this, while I'm thinking of my dog, Kobe. I'm a dog person, not that I hate cats (or anything like that), I just love dogs. Though in general, I feel all pets are the best representation of love.

At the moment, I don't have Kobe close to me, as I moved to Sweden. However, every time I see his picture I feel loved and I feel the joy to know that whenever I come back to Colombia (no matter if it's for a long period), a happy face with a crazy tail moving fast will receive me with some kisses.

I will say, that loving a pet and being loved by a pet is one the most beautiful things in life. Learning to love in the way they love is something valuable. So, I will just say, if anyone hasn't had a pet, you are missing one of the greatest love in life.

P.S. I want to see your cats!

Comment for pictures of your cats :-)

I'm not a cat owner, and neither am I a creative writer. But if you're into cats and cartoons, perhaps you'll enjoy Simon's Cat

He's captured the gist of it.

One for one comment. This is Phryne and she is a diva (middle child).

Number two: Captain Percival Periwinkle Hastings III, esq (he has not grown into being called Captain yet, so its just his middle names).

Pryne and Captain Percival Periwinkle Hastings III, esq .... was it you who came up with those names?

So Phryne is from Phryne Fisher (Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries, which I highly recommend), and Phryne, an ancient Greek hetaira who became one of the wealthiest women in ancient Athens during her time.

And Percy came from a joint agreement: I wanted Percival, my partner wanted Periwinkle, and we both really like Captain Hastings from Agatha Christie's Poirot novels. The addition of the third (III) and the esq was just for fun. Seems really nice to say the whole thing out loud.

Also there is a third cat.

Beautiful cats! Great lessons! Except for the middle one, I'll just skip that one (the lesson, not the cat).

Where is the third cat? And more importantly, what is the name of the third cat?!

    Hi @...

To each their own! But as to the third cat (as you are the third person to comment), her photo is below. And her name is Providence, who just turned 7 and I have had her since I lived in New York.

    hi Sterling Figueroa

I have a feeling me and Providence have the same hobbies!

And since you haven't asked, here's a picture of my cat:

Her passport name is June, but her real name is Katzen. She's Polish.
