Community Talks! Vol. 1, ep. 24
Ah, summertime and the living is easy. But for those who do not have catfish jumping, high cotton, a rich dad or a good looking mom (it is a song, so please do not think I am just being weird), summer is the time between the vibrant verdancy of spring and the autumnal wonder of fall, where we all try to take it easy. But what does taking it easy actually entail when our jobs only allow so many weeks of vacation during the year (assuming most take it during the summer)? Do you venture off to lounge around a lake? Or maybe being a beach bum is more suitable for your taste? Maybe you even go to a family oriented summer camp where you learn to dance and find love (please I hope this reference is not lost on y'all)?
Whatever it is you do during summer, the sad realisation is that at some point we must return to work. But that does not mean we have to return to the office! One of the many benefits of working for inriver is that we have the flexibility to work, essentially, from anywhere. So for this weeks Community Talks, I would like to implore y'all to share with us what your summer "office" looks like--whether it's a home office, a hammock, lakeside, on the beach, in the mountains, on a train, on a plane, or even just alone in one of our offices across the world.
To get it started, here are my two "offices" for the summer. The first is my balcony with our garden and the second is on the lake at our summer house (with the most wonderful dog to make it all the better).
Looking forward to seeing all of your summer "offices"!

Thanks for sharing your summer "offices". I'm my case I love going to the Malmo office during summer to get my daily dose of ice cream 🍦🍧🍨.
I also love to go for a walk after work and most of the time I take a moment to appreciate the sunset and end of the day. 🌅
Looking forward to seeing everyone's summer "office" vibes 🌞

I feel very lucky to have my summer office in the "shed" at the back of my garden.
I have a meeting room with lots of seating just in front :p, although nobody ever calls for a work meeting ;)3
