We have a few pretty simple questions regarding how other InRiver customers handle the split between the responsibilities of the business admins (typically within Marketing or Product Management departments) compared to the technical IT department in your organizations.
Specifically, we are interested in how you handle the need for new fields to store information in PIM.
1. Who decides that a new field is needed?
2. Who defines the data type of the field (String, Boolean, CVL etc.)?
3. Who defines what entity the field should be placed on?
4. Who does the manual dirty work of adding the field to the data model?
