inriver is moving towards more incremental, smaller releases to be able to accommodate our customers in a better and faster way. With smaller, more frequent releases, inriver will be able to increase the quality and transparency of the releases and be able to identify and mitigate any erroneous behavior that may be caused by the release much faster. Please note that larger features and/or changes that deem to have a strong impact on customers and partners will of course be communicated in advance.
Please see below for the deployed features and improvements:
- As a user working in Control Center, you will now be able to see in the UI what users have Customer Admin privileges. This will make it easier to get an understanding of what users have access to the Control Center
- There is a new column added in Control Center User List called "Admin" which indicates that users can access Control Center and create other users Here is the logic:
- ✓ - user can create other users
- empty - user cannot create other users
- ? - There is no login for this e-mail
- There is a new column added in Control Center User List called "Admin" which indicates that users can access Control Center and create other users Here is the logic:
- As a Control Center user working with setting up an Entity type in the Model, you will now have a better user experience seeing a cursor when hovering the headers for Includes, Included in, Categories, Fieldsets and Restricted. This will make it easier to see in the UI that these headers are clickable and you can find where to do the configurations.
- As an admin user in the Control Center setting up the custom tabs for an entity type (HTML Templates of type EditTemplates); you will now be able to configure the order in which the tabs should appear, which will make you able to control what order they are presented for the users. Previously the tabs were presented in the order that they were created.
- Control Center´s SSO Configuration UI Page has been updated based on feedback and ticket history over the past 6 months. This has now been done to streamline the new user sso onboarding. The changes include:
- Sanitize AD identifier URL (do not require HTTPS, prevent spaces and illegal characters)
- Validate cert upload to prevent .txt / .zip files from being uploaded
- Update text to display industry standard terms (Entity ID)
- Drop https requirement from the AD Identifier field (the entity ID field does not need to be https according to the SAML standard)
Please also see below for the deployed bug fixes:
- As a user in Control Center when trying to delete a user from the Users page the error message has now been updated to a more user-friendly text.
- As a user in Control Center, if you try to delete a permission that is used by a role in the control center we return an exception. This has now also been changed to a more user-friendly error message that tells the user that the permission is used by a role and can not be deleted
- In Contribute the search field for quick search will now look the same as the search field in Enrich

Hi! Could you please explain a bit further what the ? in the customer admin column (user management) means? Does it mean that a user with this email address has never logged in to InRiver at all or to the Control Center specifically?
