The setup wizard helps you configure the Channel Insights dashboard by selecting SKUs and retailers to monitor.
After setting it up, you can gain insight into weekly updated category-level data, including visibility, out-of-stock, category rank, price overview, and ratings. The search, filter, and sort capabilities help you find what you are interested in.
You can amend or change the specific SKUs and retailer websites as often as needed from within the provided data pool.
To access the wizard, click on the Configure button on the Channel Insights dashboard.
Only Channel Insights administrators have access to Configure. Ask your system admin to extend your permissions.
You can select between Channel Insights and Dashboard as the default tab using the START_PAGE setting in Control Center. See Available Server settings.

In the wizard
Do the following:
- Search for and select your brands.
Brands in the same industry will appear automatically.
Click NEXT when you're done.
- Select retailers.
These are the retailers from which you'd like to gather information. These retailers will also appear
on the retailer drop-down list, available in the Category rank tab.
Click NEXT when you're done.

Select the product SKUs for which you would like to get insights.
The available search box only allows you to search within the Product Title column.
Click NEXT when you're done.
You will see a summary of your subscription's insight limits.
Contact your inriver Account Manager if you need to increase your allowances.

Click FINISH to start gaining insights.
Removing a retailer from the selection
You cannot remove retailers with tracked products from the selection. To remove a retailer, first remove all tracked product SKUs in that retailer.
How to use the wizard to edit the current configuration
To edit the current configuration, you can use the same wizard as when creating a new configuration. Access the wizard by clicking Configure on the Channel Insights dashboard and follow the steps under Using the wizard section to edit your configuration.
