This article describes completeness in Plan & Release.
Completeness
In Plan & Release, Channels are presented as Entity cards with the Channel name used as the heading. When completeness is set up for any of the Entity types in the Channel, a progress bar appears that shows the overall completeness of all Entities in the Channel. If no completeness is set up, the progress bar is not shown.
Each Entity type linked to a Channel has a separate panel in the Channels window. The panel header shows the Entity type name and a small completeness chart.
The completeness for a specific Entity type is calculated based on the number of completed Entities of that type and the total number of Entities of that type within the Channel.
Channel completeness tab
The overall completeness of the Channel is presented as a chart and is calculated based on the number of completed Entities and the total number of Entities that are in scope for completeness within the Channel.
The Plan & Release tab named Channel completeness represents what is included in the Channel and can act as a visualization of completed Entities.
The tab has the following elements:
- Completed
The total number of completed Entities under each Entity group. - Total
The total number of Entities, completed or otherwise, under each Entity group. The number also includes Entities related to Entities in the Channel.
You can set which completeness group each Entity measures by clicking (Configure) on an Entity group.
