This is a troubleshooting article on some things to look for if there is a discrepancy between the amount of entities in the Channel compared with the inriver Content Store.
Synchronize & rebuild the channel
It could be that the Structure or content of a Channel is out of sync or corrupt you might want to synchronize or rebuild the channel.
Recreate the link rule and/or the channel node from scratch
Sometimes it helps to recreate the Link Rule and/or the Channel Node you are using.
The channel is used in more than one inriver Content Store
We currently only support one Channel per inriver Content Store. If the Channel is used in more inriver Content Stores there will be issues.
Channel and channel nodes are excluded entities in the inriver Content Store configuration
You must always include the Channel and Channel Node entity types in the inriver Content Store Configuration. They are mandatory for the content store to work properly.
Check the link types in the inriver Content Store configuration
The Link Types you have chosen to include/exclude can affect the amount of entities that are included in the inriver Content Store. For instance, including LinkTypes between two EntityTypes of the same kind, say, Product -> Product, can cause the inriver Content Store to contain more Products than the Channel it is related to.
