Question
An example is a URL to a suppliers product sheet (PDF). That way the user in inriver can open the PDF in the browser directly from the suppliers site/service and not store the PDF inside inriver just the URL.
Answer
This should be possible with the help of an In Context Editing template. You can read about it in In-context editing: HTML templates.
Create a field on the entity for the URL and then have an In Context Editing template to display it.
