The Approve interface is designed to enable the users to manage the contributions from their Contributes. Down to the individual field and/or link on a specific entity, providing full control of the marketing information and the ability to track the changes made by the Contributes over time.
The interface consists of five functional areas Filter, Pending entities, Entity overview, Entity approval, and Link approval. The different areas and their functionalities are defined in the following sections:
1. Filter
To improve the workflow for approval, use the Filter functionality to select which suppliers and/or entity types to work with and approve. You have the option to filter the pending entities based on three fields; Supplier, Date, and Entity type. Use the search box to easily navigate between suppliers, dates, and entity types. Your selection will be visible when you click Apply Filter.
2. Pending entities
Pending entities, based on your selection, will be visible either in Card- or Table view in this section. Selecting an entity in the section will update the Entity Overview- and Entity Approval Section. The entity will be removed from the section once the pending changes have been approved or rejected.
3. Entity overview
Selected information regarding the changes made to the entity is presented in the overview. The section contains the following information: Contribute Organization (Supplier), Contribute User (User), Entity, Name (Displayname), Changes (New Entity, Updated Fields, Added link), Submitted (DateTime).
4. Entity approval
Approval of an entity can be done either on entity- or field/link level using different areas and buttons in the interface.
To approve on entity level (all fields, resources and links) use the two buttons in the upper left corner; Reject All, Approve All.
To approve on field level, use the switch buttons on each field of the entity and save or submit changes in status in the upper left corner. Each field on the entity pending approval can exist in three states; Rejected, Pending, Approved. This enables multiple inriver users to partake in the approval process. The entity can first be Submitted when all fields and links on the entity are Approved or Rejected.
Note! The behavior (and description) of the Reject All- and Approve All buttons will change to Reject Remaining or Approve Remaining once the user has started to approve/reject one or several fields on the entity, this to enable an improved workflow in the approval process.
In the upper left corner of this section, you can select to see the existing PIM or suggested NEW information on the selected entity. Switching between these views will provide an easy comparison as only the changed fields will be visible.
Comments (entity level, field level)
Comments, that are communicated to the contributors, can be added to the entity and/or a specific field on the entity. Comments on the entity level are entered using the Comments button in the upper right corner of the selection. All comments, both on entity- and filed-level, are visible using the Comments button.
Comments on a specific field are entered using the balloon icon on the field in question, standardized comments can be selected to speed up the process, but custom comments can also be added on field level.
5. Link approval
Links added to the entity will be visible in this section. To approve a link, use the switch buttons on the link and save or submit changes in status in the upper left corner. Each link connected to the entity pending approval can exist in three states; Rejected, Pending, and Approved. This enables multiple users to partake in the approval process. The entity can first be Submitted when all links and fields on the entity are Approved or Rejected.

Hi, a supplier must enter the entity within enrich application to view the comments?
Is there a way to export comments, or send comments to supplier?
Thanks,
T.L
Hi Tatianne Lugo
Thank you for reaching out. This article have been updated to make it more clear. This is a Contribute Application article. However, you can use it with supplier onboarding as well. We will make sure to update approve supplier imports article with the use of Approve tab as well for the Supplier Onboarding Application.
However, with supplier onboarding it is not possible to export the comments or send to suppliers. For the suppliers to receive the comments they need to log in to the Contribute Application. Which is different from the Supplier Onboarding Portal .
Apologize for the confusion.
Best
Nicky
Hi,
Is there a way to remove comments? For example if a user created a comment for the wrong field.
