Entity statistics widgets

This article describes the Entity statistics widgets and functionality in the inriver Dashboard.

The inriver Dashboard replaces the current portal landing page. The Dashboard provides easy access to inriver functionality and applications. The top navigation bar and the dashboard widgets give you an overview of your content. Read more about the inriver Dashboard in this article.

Inriver dashboard widgets

The inriver dashboard widgets give you an overview of your content, such as entities, channels, work areas, jobs, and more. Read more about the dashboard widgets in this article.

Entity statistics

There are several widgets showing entity statistics in your inriver environment:

• Number of entities
• Entities added
• Entities per entity type

The entity statistics are calculated by a job that is running in the background. The information on the dashboard is updated regularly. Note however that there may be a slight delay in the updates. 

If you are using Content Segmentation, the statistics are based on entities in the segments that the logged-in user can access. 

Number of entities

The Number of entities widget shows the total number of entities in the inriver environment. This Number is updated post the Nightly Statistics job run every night, hence it will reflect correctly at the beginning of your workday.

Entities added

The Entities added widget shows how many entities have been added to the inriver environment within the last 24 hours.

Entities per entity type

The Entities per entity type widget shows how many entities there are of each entity type in the inriver environment.

Click the arrows in the widget to change entity type. If an arrow is highlighted, you can also use the Enter key on your keyboard to change entity type.
