When can we expect to be able to configure the dashboards? As it stands now, majority of the widgets provide no value to my users and are just adding noise.

P.s. On terminology: Making use of user's name in the UI in a greeting does not make the display personalized ( reference: "Explore the personalized dashboard").

    Hi Stefán,

In the N-4 release users will get the possibility to order the dashboard widgets in their preferred order to show the ones that bring most value on the top.
It will also be possible to build customized widgets that are presented on the dashboard showing based on the users roles.

    Kind regards,
    Karin Björnbäck

    Thanks for that.
Was just deciding to not wait until then and just roll out the new UI on Production, but just realized there is no obvious signal of when a user is in Test vs Prod. This poses an operational risk that I would like to have addressed asap.
Unless there is any way to injecting the msg somewhere in front of the uses e.g. in/near the logo or such?

It's possible to customize the dashboard to show a different logo or image on the top of the dashboard to differentiate environments. Follow the link above on how to set this up.

To see what environment you are logged on to (if you have access to more than one) you will get this information when clicking the user icon in the main header, like this:

There is a request on the product ideas community to improve this further so please give your feedback and vote here if you think this need further development.
