About the inriver dashboard
The inriver Dashboard replaces the current portal landing page. The Dashboard provides easy access to inriver functionality and applications. The top navigation bar and the dashboard widgets give you an overview of your content. Read more about the inriver Dashboard in this article.
Top navigation bar
You can access the inriver core and add-on functionality as well as custom-built applications from the top navigation bar. The available inriver functionality depends on your license.
The top navigation bar has two parts, the left-hand side menu bar (1) with a list of available applications and the right-hand side toolbar (2) that provides access to key features.

When you click Search (), a small window with a quick-search field opens, where you can do a quick search for entities.
Use the Quick Search field when you know the name of the entity you are looking for. Keep in mind that the drop-down only shows the first five hits in the list of search results.
How to use Search
- To search for an entity, type the first two letters of the text you want to search for in the search field.
- The search result list shows the main picture, entity type icon, display name and display description for the first five hits in the list of search results.
- To open an entity from the search result list in Enrich, simply click the entity.
- To get the full list of search results in a separate work area, click Enter.
A small step back is that you now have to open the quicksearch field every time.
This is the field we use the most, in our work to enrich the goods, and now we have one more click for each search.
Hi Jens Peter Jørgensen , I am sorry to hear that you feel that way. Have you submitted an product idea? I searched for it but could not find a similar one. So please do that, so that others can give input and share their use case as well.
It is very helpful if you can include screenshots. Then we can forward it to our product team. Mark the title with restyled UI :)
Thank you for your input!
I fully agree with Jens - that extras click is a step back.
I was also contacted by a colleague who found it difficult to get a valid search result when entering an exact item number in Quick search.
Since the search also lists every item with this number plus more digits after.See img with 33 hits:
Our thinking was that the search would show the direct hits first, and then list the others.
Our question is if the quick search can be configured in any way?
I know that the exact hit can be achieved using the query editor.
