To empower user efficiency the interface has a seamless look and feel when switching between Enrich, Plan & Release, and the Dashboard.
The inriver dashboard
The Dashboard provides easy access to inriver functionality and applications. The top navigation bar and the dashboard widgets give you an overview of your content. Read about the inriver Dashboard in this article.
Top navigation bar
In the new inriver user interface, the top navigation bar is always visible at the top of the screen, no matter if you're in the Dashboard, in Enrich, or in Plan & Release.
From the top navigation bar, you can access the inriver core and add-on functionality as well as custom-built applications. The available inriver functionality depends on your license.
If you have access to a lot of custom-built applications or if the browser window is too narrow, the functionalities and applications are listed as a collapsed menu.
In Enrich and Plan & Release, the top navigation toolbar contains additional feature shortcuts to the Query Editor and the Create new entity view.

Looks good :-)
Hello! Looks good! Will the restyled UI be automatically upgraded for all clients by the end of Q1 or will we need to request the upgrade as clients?
Hi Vanessa Mercea, thanks for the feedback! The restyled UI will be automatically upgraded for all clients. A detailed plan for the rollout will be communicated to customers and partners and we'll publish plenty of information about the switch on Service Center as well, so stay tuned.
Are there any more specific information than Q1 available? Is this planned for February or March? Thanks in advance.
Hello!
Vanessa Mercea. Today, there will be an invitation to our inRiver Partners to a webinar in early February (February 4). The purpose of this webinar is to discuss the preparation activities for the enablement of the new UI with our shared clients.
Andreas Ström. Client communications about the UI rollout plan will start in early February. Content will be shared via many channels - direct email blasts, service center articles, and our customer newsletter. Stay tuned.
Smiles...Lisa :)
That sounds promising. Looking forward to this. Thanks for the update!
Thanks for the information! Looking forward to the webinar. :)
@... Do you have a location in which you are tracking bugs and issues that are found while user are trying out the new UI?
Hi Aaron Jestrab 😊 , When it comes to reporting bugs you can follow the normal process of contacting support.
If you have any feedback or ideas it is product ideas functional or technical.
There is also The restyled inriver UI: known issues and limitations , that our product owner owns, so if your issue is not yet known send it to support :).
Did that answer your question ?
Hi,
Will there be any new major changes to the layout? Or was those included in the N-2 release?
We are going to do a bunch of instruction videos internally for the editors and wonder if that is something we can start with now or are there any other UI tweaks scheduled in the near future?
Hi Jesper old , you can start creating videos. There were some improvements implemented in N-2 which you can read more about in the release notes.
Of course in every release there are improvements or bug fixes so cant promise you that some things wont improve to the better consequently might look different than on your videos. But as of now there are no major changes in the UI.
May I ask what type of videos you find the most valuable to train internally?
Hi Nicky Lilja
Perfect, thank you!
General "how-to" videos, step-by-step guides, different content/levels that depends on your access rights. Our plan is to create 20-30 shorter videos to decrease the need for individual training and have as much as possible covered.
As we regularly work in both the Test and Production environments, it was helpful to know which environment we were logged into. In the current interface it is displayed next to the user's name in the upper righthand corner.
I foresee removing this visibility will cause issues for our business and development teams.
Hi Denice Tegethoff thank you for your input. In this product idea they discuss different solutions in the "old" UI. However, you can post your input here https://community.inriver.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360010040879-Distinguish-between-different-Inriver-environments
I have repeat reports of users getting stuck in authentication-loops on Chrome after the roll out of the new UI (also Chrome seems to thing the login-pages are in French and continues to offer me translations).
The issue/bug is that users submit their username/email-addresses(SSO), but upon submitting are reverted back to the same screen. Killing off the browser session does not solve the issue.
These users are cheating and getting in by using Edge.
Stefán B. Árnason We have the exact same issue. We instruct our users to use an Incognito Window in Chrome to escape this endless loop.
Stefán B. Árnason We have the exact same issue as well. We have been clearing our cache and that helps.
Hi, the issue you are highlighting is a confirmed bug and our development team is working with priority to find a fix.
So if you have not already, please submit a support ticket and register this issue, so that we can keep you in the loop, and also get you to test a possible fix.
Best
Same here Stefán B. Árnason Kimberly Morris
Only a handful of our users experience it, so far. We use chrome incognito & edge to battle it.
Clearing cache and history bought us 1 day of normal chrome use, after that the loop was back.
Ticket has been made Nicky Lilja
Great to hear Jesper old. And thanks to everyone else submitting a ticket! It really helps us to move forward with this issue.
