This article explains why channel nodes might be missing and how to troubleshoot.
Missing channel nodes
There are various reasons for channel nodes to be missing. One reason could be that the size or complexity of a channel makes the channel nodes take time to show up. Other reasons could be issues with channel listeners and/or stuck messages.
To synchronize a channel
In many cases, the issue of missing channel nodes can be solved by synchronizing the channel. To synchronize a channel, follow the below instructions.
- In the Web Portal > inriver Plan & Release, click the channel you want to work with to open the channel editing view.
- Click the Synchronize channel icon in the menu bar.
- Click OK.
- You can follow the progress of the synchronization job by clicking Jobs in the top navigation bar.
To rebuild a channel
If re-synchronizing does not work, try rebuilding the channel. Note that rebuilding a channel takes a lot of time.
To rebuild a channel, follow the below instructions.
- In the Web Portal > inriver Plan & Release, click the channel you want to work with.
- Click the Rebuild channel icon in the menu bar.
- Click OK.
- You can follow the progress of the synchronization job by clicking Jobs in the top navigation bar.
