Removing a node from a channel

This article explains how to remove a node from a channel in Plan & Release.

Removing a node

There are two ways to remove a node in Plan & Release, depending on if you only want to remove the relation to the channel or if you want the entity to be completely removed from the system. 

Removing the channel relation

If you click Remove relation under the Structure Tab of a channel in Plan & Release, you will only remove the relation to the channel. The entity will still exist in the system.

Removing the entity

If you want to remove the entire entity you can either do this in Enrich or by selecting Delete in the navigation menu, in the plan & release dashboard.

To remove a node

1. In the Web Portal > Plan & Release, select the channel where you want to remove a node to open the channel editing view.
2. Click the Structure tab.
3. Select the node that you want to delete.
   • To remove the relation between the node and the channel, click Remove in the Structure menu bar.
   • To remove the entity from the system, click Delete in the navigation menu to the right.
