Copying a publication

This articles explains how to copy a publication structure with its existing relations and rules in Plan & Release.

To copy a publication

1. Go to Plan & Release and select the Publication that you want to work with. 
   
2. To open the publication editing view, click the navigation menu on the publication. 
3. Click Open in Open in Enrich.
4. Now you have opened the Publication in Enrich in an entity overview. From here, click Copy entity in the Entity Toolbar. 
   
   
   
5. A Copy widget opens up. If you want to keep your existing relations, check Copy data and existing relations in step 1. 
   
   
   
6. Click Next.
7. In step 2,  select which relations you want to keep. 
   
8. Click Next.
9. Step 3, validates the copy and will let you know if there are any errors. 
10. Step 4 informs you to: Click Finish to create a copy, This may take a while if you have many relations. How long it takes depends on the structure and number of relations. 
11. Once you have validated and completed the copy, the publication will be available on the left hand side in the work area menu. 

Good to know

• This operation also copies the nodes and rules within them.
