Following sections, folders and articles

This article explains how to Follow Sections, Folders, Articles and Comments in the inriver Community. 

Following sections, folders and/or articles gives you as a user the possibility to provocatively receive notifications when there is a new update and comment. 

We recommend that you always follow: 

• News & Updates 
• inriver Releases 
• Subscribe to Service Status Page. Read how to here.  

What you can follow and get notified 

You can Follow 3 different levels: 

1. Section > 2. Folder > 3. Article > Comment (inside the article).

How to follow a section 

1. Select the Section you want to Follow.
   
   
2. Click Follow. 
   
   
3. Select one of: 
   1. New articles 
   You will get a notification when there is a new Article or Folder. 
   2. New articles and comments
   You will get a notification when there is a new Article or Folder AND Comments on Articles. 

How to follow a folder 

1. Select the Folder you want to Follow. 
   
   
2. Click Follow. 
   
   
3. Select one of: 
   1. New articles 
   You will get a notification when there is a new Article or Folder. 
   2. New articles and comments
   You will get a notification when there is a new Article or Folder AND Comments on Articles.

How to follow an article and comments

1. Select the Article you want to Follow. T
   
   
2. Click Follow. 
   You will get a notification when there is a new Comments on the selected Article. 

How to follow community users

1. Click on the User name.
   
   
2. Click Follow.
