Setting up inriver Contribute for your contributors
You set up a Contribute site for a contributor using the Contribute tab in the Supplier Onboarding in the Web Portal.
Below is an overview of the content available in the Contribute tab.
General settings
Allowed entity types to be created is where you define which Entity Types your contributor should be able to create.
Settings and filters
Include & show entity types is where you select one or multiple Entity Types you want to include and give your contributors access to.
Include & show/edit field types is where you specify for each Entity Type the fields you want to include and give access to for editing.
Read only field types is where you specify which of the fields you specified for an Entity Type above should be Read Only for your contributors.
Include & show/edit link types is where you can specify which Link Types you want to include, e.g. “Product -> Resource”. Note that Channel and Channel Node links are mandatory and must always be included for correct display of Entities.
Link types that include Link Entities are not supported and are grayed out.
Include & show entities by CVL fields is where you select an EntityType and filter and display only the Entities that have a specific CVL Value from a CVL list. Read more in this article.
Automatic import is what you should check if you want the data automatically imported into inriver. If you want to manually approve the data before import, don’t check this checkbox.
User access
This is where you create users for the site where the supplier logs in.
To create a user
- To create a user, click Create user and add email, first name, and last name.
- An API key will be automatically generated for the user.
- Click Save to save the new user to that supplier.
- Once saved, a link will be generated. Send that link to the user, so they can set a password.
