HTML templates

This article provides an overview of the Html Templates module in Control Center.

HTML template types

The are various HTML templates to work with:

Application
A template used to host a custom application. An application template can be used to frame the UI of an integrated application and make it feel like part of a customer's inriver setup.
Content Store
A template for product sheet or catalog pages for Entities available in Content Store. It renders a downloadable PDF.
Content Store cover page
A template for the front cover of a catalog rendered in Content Store. It renders a downloadable PDF.
Content Store end page
A template for the back cover of a catalog rendered in Content Store. It renders a downloadable PDF.
Edit
The template used in Enrich that allows you to view and edit an Entity in different ways and to integrate to other systems. The Edit template is tied to a specific Entity type, acting as a stand-alone application.

Enrich PDF
A PDF template used when you select the PDF option in the context menu on an Entity. It renders a downloadable PDF. For more information on how to set up this particular template, see PDF template.
Enrich preview
The template used when you click Preview on an Entity inside Enrich.
Plan & Release preview
The template used in Plan & Release when displaying a preview of what an Entity looks like in a selected Channel.
Portal
A template for customizing the Portal template widget on the inriver Dashboard.
Workspace
A template you can use to create workspaces, where users will go and complete their assignments based on workflows.

In Control Center > Html Templates
do the following:

Select a template type from the Type menu.
Select the Entities relevant to the HTML template using the Entity Types menu.
Click View Template In Browser
A preview of the selected data appears using the selected template.

Deleted or overwritten templates cannot be restored.
