About inriver print

inriver Print provides a seamless integration with Adobe InDesign that makes it easier to produce printed material since you are always working with updated product data.

inriver Print gives you the tools to automate and control the production process. It uses the one master copy of images, texts and product attributes - the single product truth – found in the inriver repository. It maintains information with version control while keeping it consistent.

Using inriver together with inriver Print will make your product information available directly to Adobe InDesign.

Semi-automatic production

inriver Print is a semi-automatic approach, although it can be configured to produce catalogs at the push of a button.

Semi-automatic production with Adobe InDesign means that all product information is available within InDesign and/or InDesign Server, and when it is inserted into a publication, it will stay linked to the inriver repository. This also means that changes made to the product information at the source (inriver) will have immediate effect in the InDesign document. 

Languages and formatting

If you produce publications in multiple languages, you only need to create the first language layer in a base layer - the rest is taken care of by the inriver integration that will automatically generate new language layers for you.
