This article explains how you can configure your elastic data model to show the CVL keys for a field next to the name, using server settings.
About CVL keys in inriver Enrich
There are two places in inriver Enrich where you have the option to show CVL keys:
- The Details tab
- The Query Editor
By default, CVL keys are not shown to the user. To make them visible, you use two server settings that you manage in inriver Control Center. One is for the Details tab and the other one is for the Query Editor.
The CVL keys are shown within parentheses after the name.
Both server settings let you choose between showing the CVL keys either for all CVL fields or for a specific list of CVL fields.
Showing CVL keys in the details tab
The server setting to control visibility of CVL keys in the Details tab is called
SHOW_CVL_KEY_FOR_FIELDTYPES_IN_DETAILSVIEW
- To show CVL keys for all CVL fields, assign an asterisk (*) as value.
- To show CVL keys for selected CVL fields, assign a comma (,) separated list of field type identifiers.
This is an example of when CVL keys are shown in the Details tab. The blue squares highlight CVL fields with the CVL keys shown within parentheses.
Showing CVL keys in the query editor
The server setting to control visibility of CVL keys in the Query Editor is called
SHOW_CVL_KEY_FOR_FIELDTYPES_IN_QUERYEDITOR
- To show CVL keys for all CVL fields, assign an asterisk (*) as value.
- To show CVL keys for selected CVL fields, assign a comma (,) separated list of field type identifiers.
This is an example of when CVL keys are shown in the Query Editor. The blue square highlights CVL values with the CVL keys shown within parentheses.
Configuring server settings in inriver Control Center
To use the feature that allows you to show CVL keys, you add one or both of the two server settings mentioned above in inriver Control Center > Settings.
In the screenshot below, we have configured the system to show the CVL keys for all CVL fields when you use the Query Editor, but in the Details tab, only the CVL keys of the three fields of field types ProductB2CLevel1, ProductB2CLevel2 and ProductBrand are shown.
