This article highlights things to keep in mind if you import date fields via the Import data feature in Enrich.
We advise you not to include date fields in the import file unless it's absolutely necessary. If your Excel file contains date fields you must ensure that your browser settings have the same date format as the file you are importing. This is to avoid the risk of dates being validated and imported in an incorrect way.
Language Settings and Date Formats
Your browser language settings may affect how date formats are displayed in inRiver and how they are exported to Excel from inRiver.
Date fields that are imported from a file using the Import data feature in Enrich must have the same format as your browser to be validated in a correct way. If the date format in the file is different from the browser settings, dates are not validated and the wrong data may be imported.

Verified Browser Language Settings (in Chrome)
The below list of browser language settings and date formats are verified in Chrome. The settings work when importing data using the Import data feature in Enrich, provided that the imported Excel file uses the same date format:

Unsupported Language Settings and Date Formats
If your browser language settings and the Excel file date format don't match, the imported data is not correctly validated and imported. We recommend that you use any of the verified language settings above, to be on the safe side.
