This article describes how you sort the entities in your cart in Content Store.
Sort options in inriver Content Store
By default, entities are displayed in a catalog in the order they are added to the cart. If you want to change that order, you can use Sort options in the Content Store cart view to generate a catalog where the entities are sorted differently.
Users can sort the cart in ascending or descending order, by Display Name, Display Description, a selected Field, or the nodes in the left-side navigation pane Tree Structure.
To select sort options in the inriver Content Store cart
- In Content Store, click Sort options... to sort a cart that contains a list of entities.
- You can sort by Display Name, Display Description, Field, and Tree Structure.
- Click the Sort now button to sort the cart.
- When finished click Done. You can now use the sorted cart in the catalog generation process.

Hi Joakim thanks for the article. Is there an article on how to sort ressources, campaigns, color in the store. Right now they are shown in the order they were added to inRiver. This means that all our old products and campaigns are unfortunately shown first which is a pity. Would be nice to be able to reverse this and show all our newest products first.
Thanks for your help.
Hi Rasmus,
There is currently no article for this. I've asked our content team to look into and shared your thoughts with them. I have also acknowledged your comment on a feature request on the same topic https://servicecenter.inriver.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360005464320-Sort-Content-Store-result-by-entity-type.
Thanks a lot Joakim this would be very helpful if there is a solution to this. Have a nice weekend.
