About filtering in inriver Content Store
Filtering for specific field types makes it easier for Content Store users to select a part of the assortment in a content store.
Which fields to show in the top menu of a content store are managed in the Content Store back end in the Web Portal.
Note: Only users with an assigned administrator role can access the Content Store back end in the Web Portal.
To configure inriver Content Store filter settings
- To select the FieldTypeId(s) you want to use when filtering, go to the Web Portal > Content Store > Data transfer configuration, and select the FieldTypeId(s) you want to display from the Filter field types drop-down menu.
- The FieldTypeId(s) you select in the Web Portal are displayed in the top menu in the Content Store front end and can be used to filter the content.
Using filters on different entity types
In the Content Store front end you can filter on different entity types, for example, items and products.
Example
Below is an example of how filters are used in Content Store when filtering on items.
Note: You should only select CVL fields when setting up filters in Content Store. The filters you set up only filter on the specified fields for a specific entity type.

Hi, if I have a content store where I want to filter products per color only. So the fieldtype is "colour", and for my content store created, i only want the "red" one. Is it possible ?
Related to that, all the channel filter (in setting control center) are applied to the content store too or not ? For example I can have This rule on my channel : 219355;Exclude;Resource;ResourceDetail;MRS I am wondering if this rule is applied on the content store too which is using the channel 219355 of course. Thx
