Inriver is moving towards more incremental, smaller releases to better and faster accommodate our customers. With smaller, more frequent releases, Inriver will be able to increase the quality and transparency of the releases and identify and mitigate any erroneous behavior that may be caused by the release much faster.

As part of ongoing improvements to the new media experience, we've fixed the following issues. These fixes apply only to the new media experience and affect only customers who have opted in. The classic Media UI is unaffected.
Media (new media experience)
Bug fixes
This release fixes four issues in the new media experience, bringing it in line with classic Media behavior.
| # | Area | Fix |
| 1 | Upload | Filename rules set with a regular expression on the ResourceFilename field now work as intended when uploading media. Valid filenames are no longer rejected with "contains illegal characters", and filenames that don't match the expression are blocked. |
| 2 | Upload | Replacing a file with "Replace file (Same URL)" no longer breaks the Resource when its display name is a localized (LocaleString) field. Previously the Resource could become inaccessible and show a recurring "Unexpected error" message. The display name and description are now left intact when a file is replaced. |
| 3 | Media tab | PDF thumbnails now load correctly in the new media experience for PDF resources whose thumbnails were generated earlier. Previously these thumbnails failed to display because the stored thumbnail filename didn't match the one requested. Note! This bug fix will be fully deployed this weekend. |
| 4 | Media tab | The Media tab now loads for users whose username contains uppercase letters. Previously it could remain stuck on a loading screen for these users, even with a valid portal session. Note! This bug fix will be fully deployed this weekend. |
