Inriver is moving towards more incremental, smaller releases to better and faster accommodate our customers. With smaller, more frequent releases, Inriver will be able to increase the quality and transparency of the releases and identify and mitigate any erroneous behavior that may be caused by the release much faster.

Brand Store v2
New Features
Configurable product data flattening
Brand Store v2 now supports configurable product data flattening, giving Store Admin Users the ability to present product data from multiple linked entity types as a single, unified view — shielding store visitors from the complexity of the underlying PIM data model.
Many customers structure their PIM data across several entity types to manage market complexity and support enrichment workflows. When sharing this data externally, the fragmented structure can be hard for recipients to navigate. Store Admins can now define a base entity type for the store — the level shown in search results — and configure which additional linked entity types should contribute data to the flattened product record. Media resources, related data, and download formats can each be configured independently, giving full control over what is exposed and at what level.
In the Data step, Admins can select fields, filter fields, search fields, and Multi Value Search fields from across the entire flattened data structure — including fields originating from entity types other than the base level, such as a brand field from a Product Family when SKUs are shown in search results.
Store Users see a unified Product Details Page drawing on data from all configured entity types and receive flattened data in export files. Filters and search can be driven by fields from any configured entity type.
Note: Flattening is supported one level down and two levels up from the configured base entity type.
Who benefits: Store Admin Users configuring stores with complex data models, and Store Users who need to consume product data in a clear, consolidated view.
Access: Available in the Basic and Model steps of the Brand Store configuration wizard in Store Admin. On the Basic step you will find the new “Flattened” store type, and when selected the Model step will adapt to be able to configure the data flattening. The “Flattened” store type is available to all customers with Brand Store v2.
Improvements
Configurable sort order for categories and fields
Store Admin Users can now control the order in which categories and fields are presented on the Product Details Page. Previously, the display order followed the index order defined in Control Center — optimized for PIM workflows, not always the most intuitive structure for external audiences.
In the Data step of the store configuration wizard, Admins can now reorder categories and fields independently for each store, without requiring any changes to the PIM. The same control is available when configuring Config Templates, allowing a consistent presentation order to be defined and reused across stores.
Who benefits: Store Admin Users who need precise control over how product data is presented in a store, and Store Users who benefit from a more intuitive, decision-supportive Product Details Page.
Language selection for data downloads
Store Users can now filter downloads by language, making it possible to export only the data relevant to a specific language context rather than receiving all available translations.
A Language selector is available in the download flow when using the default data configuration. By default, all languages are included, matching the previous behavior, but users can now narrow the selection to one or more specific languages before downloading. A built-in filter makes it easy to find the right language quickly. For Store Users downloading with a custom data configuration, the language selection is not shown, as language scope is already controlled by the configuration itself.
This reduces file sizes, shortens download times, and removes the need for manual filtering after export — particularly useful for teams working in localized markets.
Who benefits: Store Users downloading product data in multi-language environments, including regional marketing, sales, and partner teams who need language-specific exports.
Taxonomy sidebar filter now supports up to 5 levels of channel hierarchy
The taxonomy sidebar filter in Brand Store now correctly displays and supports filtering across channel hierarchies with up to 5 levels of depth. Previously, 5th-level nodes were not visible in the sidebar, and entities belonging to those nodes were grouped under the 4th-level parent instead.
Who benefits: Store Users navigating and filtering products using deep channel hierarchies configured in Plan and Release.
Bugs
| # | Area | Fix |
| 1 | PDP | String-type fields with date-like values (e.g., 04/15/2026) were being incorrectly rendered as datetime values (e.g., 04/15/2026 12:00 AM) in the Brand Store. String values are now displayed exactly as stored in PIM. The fix also ensures that linked entity grids respect the correct field type when rendering values. |
| 2 | PDP | Scrolling through a long list of related entities on the Product Details Page could break after resizing the browser window. Users were unable to reach the bottom of the list after restoring the window to full size. Scrolling now works correctly regardless of window resize. |
