It’s time for our monthly review of the most recent inriver product releases, where we delve into the more practical benefits behind the technical details.
This month’s update includes enhancements to Inspire, improvements in Workflow efficiency, and general usability upgrades to streamline your experience with inriver.
Smarter content generation with Inspire
We’ve introduced several enhancements to Inspire that make it even more powerful for your content creation process.
- More intuitive content approvals – A new review phase in the Inspire “right drawer app” allows users to approve, reject, or edit AI-generated content before finalizing it, ensuring better control over quality and consistency.
- Clearer visual cues – The Inspire button now turns yellow when AI-generated content has been applied to a field, making it easier to track edits and updates at a glance.
- Smarter translations – Users with the right permissions can now translate and review AI-translated texts directly in the Details tab, making multilingual content management smoother.
- Proactive token management – A new low-token warning now alerts users when Inspire credits are running low, so you can plan ahead for replenishment without interruptions.
Improved workflow automation for greater efficiency
Keeping track of workflows just got easier with several updates designed to improve clarity and user experience.
- Simplified tracking – The Workflow Overview Page now displays full names instead of email addresses in the “Changed By” column and more intuitive trigger names instead of system-generated IDs.
- Better workspace management – The workspace selection dropdown now includes clearer guidance with grayed-out placeholder text, ensuring users select the correct workspace before proceeding.
- Enhanced visibility – Image descriptions in workflows are now more accessible across different screen sizes, ensuring that important details remain visible and legible.
- Preventing errors – The system now clearly notifies users when they reach the maximum number of workflows, avoiding unnecessary confusion.
- New History view - You can now get a snapshot of how your workflows have progressed in a new workflow history view. Read more in this article.
General improvements for a smoother experience
We’ve made several refinements across the platform to improve usability, efficiency, and security:
- Faster performance – Optimized data transmission in the Portal ensures that only the necessary fields are retrieved, reducing system load and improving response times.
- More flexible queries – The Query Editor now supports more refined search conditions for “Created By” and “Modified By,” making it easier to filter data based on multiple selections.
- Clearer error messages – Various system alerts and notifications have been updated for better clarity, reducing confusion and improving troubleshooting.
- Better multi-language editing – The locale string editing modal now remains open after saving, making it easier to work with multiple language versions without unnecessary clicks.
- Stronger security – The removal of dependency on the outdated Razor syntax ensures a more secure platform, aligning with modern security standards.
That’s it for this month’s summary. If you’d like to know more about the details behind these enhancements, you can read our technical release notes at any time.
