It’s now even easier for Brand Store end users to find the products they are looking for in your catalogs with the new partial term search functionality. At the same time, we’ve made it possible to bulk-manage user access to storefronts for increased efficiency.
Partial term search improves discoverability of your product catalog
Building on last month’s announcement of multi-value search within Brand Stores, you can now perform these searches for comma separated lists of values, even if you only have a part of the full value used in your PIM. For example, you could search for “SPR, SUM” to get a list of all products that contain the prefixes “SPR-” or “SUM-” in the product code. This will make it easier to quickly direct your end users to a specific range of products.
We have also extended the multi-value search functionality to cover fields marked as “non-unique” within your data model, where previously it would only work with fields flagged as unique.
We call this new functionality “partial term search” and you can decide on a per-store basis whether to enable it for your end users. To enable it, simply toggle the new partial term search setting in the data tab of the Brand Store management screens. You can quickly see whether this setting is enabled on a specific storefront with a new indicator on the overview page in the management screens.

Please note, you can only adjust this setting in a Brand Store that’s not currently live. Don’t forget to republish the store once you’ve added the functionality!
Invite or delete Brand Store users in bulk
It’s now easier to administer user access rights when you’re making your Brand Stores available to large groups of end users. You can send email invitations to a storefront to multiple users in one action. It’s also possible to remove multiple users from a storefront at once, disabling their ability to login to that storefront. You can manage both functions from the “access” tab in the management screen for an individual storefront.
Simply click on the box that displays the number of users current associated to that storefront. Then check the boxes to select the group of users you want to manage. Once selected, you can use the “send invite” or “remove” buttons on the right of the screen as shown in the image below:
Pop-up notifications will appear at the bottom of the screen to inform you of progress on actioning your request. This will be particularly useful when there are large batches of email invitations to be sent.
