Inriver has two new features in Brand Store that are helping end-users save time and effort as they explore your product range.
You can shortcut the search process in your digital storefronts by directing end users to a specific range of products. The Brand Store search bar now accepts multi-value queries based on comma separated lists of unique attributes.
And if you share brochures, datasheets, or other documents via Brand Store, users can now preview these PDFs within the storefront without the need to download. Here’s how these new features work:
Quick, focused searching for specific products and variations
Based on feedback from customers and partners, we understand that many of you share lists of product codes or identifiers with Brand Store end users to guide them toward specific products or assets for review. Users can now type or paste these comma separated lists directly into the search bar in your branded storefront. The results will show product information for all the specified items.
The faceted search navigation on the left of the storefront updates along with the search results in case further filtering is required.
From spreadsheet to search results, fast
If you prefer to share the values in a spreadsheet, the end user can copy directly from the sheet into the search bar. Brand Store will automatically insert commas between the values to support the search functionality.
Searches can be performed on unique attributes stored in any field that is configured as searchable within a given Brand Store. This setting is controlled by your PIM users when they configure each storefront.
In-line PDF previews reduce downloads
End users can also get faster access to your full range of product content with a convenient new PDF preview feature. Instead of downloading materials like brochures, datasheets and instructions from Brand Store, they can click on the PDF preview icon beside a document to read it within the storefront.
A download button within the preview window enables users to save PDFs externally if required.
