inriver is moving towards more incremental, smaller releases to accommodate our customers better and faster. With smaller, more frequent releases, inriver will be able to increase the quality and transparency of the releases and identify and mitigate any erroneous behavior that may be caused by the release much faster.
Please see below for the deployed features and improvements:
- It has been implemented so that Brand store displays a progress/status indicator when downloading Excel, CSV, or JSON files with included resources. The status provides real-time updates, beginning with "Preparing resources to be downloaded..." followed by "Downloading # out of # resources" to track download progress. This ensures users are informed throughout the process, enhancing the overall user experience.
- It has been implemented so that the brand store's asset download process for both JSON and CSV formats now handles image resource processing on the client side. Instead of the server processing all images simultaneously, the browser downloads resources one by one when the export type is set to "Include Files" or "Both." This reduces server load, minimizes the risk of timeouts, and increases the success rate for downloading large assets.
- It has been implemented so that the brand store displays a progress/status indicator when downloading JSON and CSV files with included resources. The status updates from "Preparing resources to be downloaded..." to "Downloading # out of # resources," giving users real-time visibility into the download progress and enhancing the overall user experience.
- It has been implemented so that in the Control Center, there is a 1-hour cooldown period before a user can trigger the Data Model Metrics collection again. This measure prevents excessive requests to Azure and helps maintain system performance.
- It has been implemented so that new buttons have been added to the Control Center, allowing users to manually trigger the collection of Data Model Metrics. This enables users to obtain the latest metrics instantly, without waiting for the scheduled collection job.
- It has been implemented so that the cancel schedule feature has been relocated from the Settings view to the Outbox in Syndicate Plus, improving accessibility and user workflow.
- It has been implemented so that a "View Details" button has been added to the Field Mappings view in Syndicate Plus, allowing users to access more comprehensive information about field mappings efficiently.
- It has been implemented so that the export functionality in Syndicate Plus has been combined into a single button with a submenu, streamlining the export process and improving user navigation.
- It has been implemented so that options for scheduling API syndications in Syndicate Plus have been clarified, providing users with a more intuitive interface and enhancing the overall scheduling experience.
Please see below for the deployed bug fixes:
- We have applied a solution to ensure that users can now download CSV files larger than 1GB from the Logs Module in the Control Center, addressing the previous issue that prevented downloads of large files.
- We have applied a solution to ensure that both the key and value in Extension Settings are correctly updated in the Control Center. This fix resolves issues where updates were not being applied as expected, enhancing the reliability of the Extension Settings.
- We have applied a solution to ensure that the syndication date in Syndicate Plus must be set to a future date, preventing the selection of past dates and enhancing scheduling accuracy.
