We are excited to announce the general availability of workflows and workspaces as a core feature of our platform! This new functionality has been introduced to customers and partners over the past few weeks. Our cross-functional team has been working to provide additional commercial and technical training internally and to partners to ensure a successful launch.
How does it work?
Workflows and workspaces automate and manage activities throughout the product information lifecycle, enhancing efficiency. Workspaces allow Workflow Creators to create tailored environments, enabling team members to focus on specific and relevant tasks. Workflows guide the process from start to finish, clarifying requirements for PIM end-users. This intuitive feature makes it easier for more team members, regardless of their previous PIM knowledge, to contribute to the data's onboarding, enrichment, distribution, and optimization.
This functionality is available to all customers on a tiered package (core, professional, enterprise).
How has this been communicated?
Workflows and Workspaces were announced at PIMpoint Chicago on April 24th. Before then, we introduced the feature to selected partners and early adopters for feedback and to understand customer needs. Following PIMpoint, this feature is now available for customer adoption.
Why should partners, customers, and you care?
This feature, already supported by competitors and highly requested by customers and partners, showcases inriver’s commitment to meeting customer needs and maintaining a competitive edge in the enterprise PIM market. We believe this will enhance user experience, improve NPS scores, and reduce customer churn. Additionally, it promotes configuration over customization, closing capability gaps filled by partner solutions and customizations.

To start using these new features, you must be on a tiered contract and have the workflow capabilities enabled, to do so please create a Support ticket.
